Our team come from varied backgrounds and hold valuable experience in fulfilling the needs of our pupils. Our remarkable team is made up of SENCO’s, Graduates, Mainstream Teachers, SEN/D Teaching Assistants and parent volunteers who naturally promote a fun and loving learning environment. Although at times our team have faced challenges, their determination, love and commitment towards their pupils has enabled them to deliver at the highest standard. We have always aimed for openness and welcome vulnerability to foster a safe space for pupils and carers alike. Openly expressing challenges and experiences creates room for healthy discussions whereby carers, teachers and volunteers can support one another and implement solutions they may not have thought of themselves. Everyday our teachers and parents are challenged with something new, however our love for the children and young adults continues to drive positive energy into the team. Being a carer can feel lonely and isolating and as many of us have learnt, you can’t always prepare for certain situations. However, we believe that with the right support from one another and as a community we can build each other’s strength and determination to take on each day as it comes; providing the best support for our loved ones while looking after each other and ourselves. We believe in inclusion. Our current intake ranges from ages 5 to 34, male and female. Our community have waited too long to see a meaningful initiative like this. We owe it to deliver what we can to these children and young adults in high spirit.
